Slewing Ring Bearing

Slewing rings are usually used for low revolution, carrying high thrust loads and/or combined with radial loads. They can be manufactured without teeth, with internal or external teeth, with balls and/or with rollers.

Depending on the application, Slewing rings are divided into four types:

1. Single-row ball slewing ring

I)   Four point contact bearing, balls arranged 1:1
II)  Two seat rings (one on inner- and one on outer ring)
III)  Compact structure
IIII)  Light in weight
V)   Axial load, radial load and tilting moment simultaneously

2. Single-row roller slewing ring
I)   Rollers are arranged crossways 1:1
II)  Two seat rings (one on inner- and one on outer ring)
III)  Compact in design
IIII)  Light in weight
V)   Small clearance
IV)  Axial load, resultant moment and considerable radial force

3. Double-row ball slewing ring
I)   Eight point contact bearing, with same or different ball diameters
II)  Three seat rings
III) Open fitting, convenient for installation purposes
IIII) Suitable for large connecting structures
V)   Large axial load and tilting moment

4. Three-row roller slewing ring
I)   Three seat rings
II)  Suitable for highest axial loads and tilting moments
III) Suitable for large connecting structures
