Depending on feature Open Housing Slewing Drive are divided into two types:

1.S Series
Advantage

Compared with SE Series, the S Series slewing drive is a good choice for the lower maintenance costs; it is widely used for the Aerial platform
And truck crane and other fields. The S style slewing drive is combined by open housing, slewing ring, hourglass worm gear and other parts .you can use the electric motor or hydraulic motor drive the S series slewing drives.

Feature
I)  FRB BEARINGS S series designing facilitate customer always monitor the using of equipment, easy maintenance.
II) This Slewing drive designed with hourglass worm shaft, multi-tooth contacting and higher torque.

Application
S series slewing drives widely used for relative rotation parts of the construction machines.
I)   Aerial platform Chassis rotation.
II)  Drive the arm rotation of the crane truck.
III) Automated assembly line rotation butt joints

2.S-2 Series
Advantage
S-2 Slewing drive is combined by the S style housing, slewing bearing, hourglass worm gears and other parts. It achieved 2 times of tooth contacting. In the same volume and installation space, it improved nearly double output torque and holding torque , this series slewing drive are widely used for the heavy-duty machines.

Feature
I)   FRB BEARINGS S series designing with two hourglass worms, it is improved double output torque than S series
II)  FRB BEARINGS S-2 Series slewing drive designing with two worms driving at the same time. It is double tooth contacting, Performance better than S series, better rigidity and double impact resistance.

Application
S-2 series slewing drives widely used for relative rotation parts of the construction machines.
I)   Driving Digger drilling machine azimuth & Elevation rotation.
II)  Controlling the rope winder machine console rotation.
III) Grappling’s rotation parts.
