Cylindrical Roller Bearings (with cage)

Cylindrical Roller Bearings with cage are very rigid and have a high radial load capacity. Because of their cage, Cylindrical Roller Bearings are suitable for higher speeds than full complement Cylindrical Bearings. Single row Cylindrical Roller Bearings with cage have an inner- and an outer ring with in-between a cage with cylindrical rollers.

The inner and outer rings can be supplied with or without lips. With lips Cylindrical Roller Bearings can be used as a fixed bearing, support bearing or as a single bearing. For easier assembly the inner- and outer rings can be mounted separately. The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers from coming into contact with each other. Product range: N, NU, NJ, NF, NUP, NJG, NN, NNF series.

Cylindrical Roller Bearings (full complement)

Full complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings have the maximum amount of rollers. Because of this Cylindrical Roller Bearings are very rigid and have a high load capacity. Cylindrical Roller Bearings are constructed with an inner and an outer ring with in-between cylindrical rollers which are guided by rings.

Full complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings cannot attain the high revolutions of Cylindrical Roller Bearings with cage. Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings can be manufactured with one row or with two rows of cylindrical bearings. They can be used as a fixed bearing, support bearing or as a single bearing.

Applications:
Roll-neck applications in rolling mills, transmissions gear reducers, geared shafting, steering mechanisms, and machine-tool spindles. Where speeds are low, grease lubrication suffices, but high speeds demand oil lubrication and very high speeds demand special lubricating arrangements.

Depending on the application, Cylindrical Roller Bearings are divided into four types:

1.Single-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings
FRB BEARINGS produces single row cylindrical roller bearings can accommodate heavy radial loads and high speeds. They are manufactured in several different designs, the main difference being in the configuration of the flanges. The most popular are the NU, N, NJ and NUP designs.

2.Double-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings
FRB BEARINGS produces double row cylindrical roller bearings mainly in the NNU design and the NN design. The bearings are separable, i.e. the ring with integral flanges together with the roller and cage assemblies can be mounted separately from the other bearing ring or all bearing components can be mounted separately. This facilitates the mounting, inspection and maintenance of these bearings.

3.Four-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings
FRB BEARINGS produces four-row cylindrical roller bearings have a cylindrical bore and some sizes are also available with tapered bore. Bearings with tapered bore can be adjusted during mounting to give a certain radial internal clearance or a defined preload.

4.Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings
FRB BEARINGS full complement cylindrical roller bearings are produced as standard in four designs, three open designs and one sealed. All the bearings are non-separable and have an annular groove and three lubrication holes in the outer ring to facilitate efficient lubrication.
